A4. Unlike many salons offering Eyelash Perms in U.S., LAVILASH uses the mildest and yet most efficient perming cream specially developed for eyelashes. Although, it is still chemical, we cannot say there is no damage at all. However, using eyelash curler every day damages your eyelashes fur more since eyelash curler pulls out and even cuts your eyelashes. Complimentary collagen treatment is included in LAVILASH eyelash perm and it adds gloss and moisture to your eyelashes.
A5. No. Perm itself does not lead to loss of eyelashes. However, it is perfectly normal to lose one or two eyelashes daily. It happens to all of us! New eyelashes will grow in place of old ones. Eyelash life cycle is between 60-120 days. Constant and compulsive eyelash curler usage may cause eyelashes fall off before regular life cycle.
A6. Not a problem at all. LAVILASH carries 42 kinds of rods in order to meet many different requirements. The technician choose the best rod depending on the eyelash length, texture, thickness of eyelids, requested curls. However, if your eyelashes are cut or pulled out severely beause of eyelash extensions or eyelash curler, we may recommend you to wait a while until eyelashes grow back. For bottom eyelashes, if they are too short or too fine, we may not be able to perform perm.
A7. 45 minutes to an hour. It could take a little over than that for those who is first time or whose eyelashes are difficult to be curled. When you get both top and bottom eyelashes permed at the same time, it takes an hour and half.
A8. It varies for each individual but is usually lasts4-6 weeks. New eyelashes which are usually straight will grow out in 3-4 weeks. Gradually, straight lashes will be majority and you start feeling your lashes are not curled any more. I recommend having a perm every 5-6 weeks to maintain beautiful appearance. Perms for people whose eyelashes are fine and whose eyelids are puffy may not last as long as the others.
A9. Eyelash extension is the technique which glues artificial eyelashes onto your eyelashes. It adds length and number of eyelashes. On the other hand, Eyelash Perm is just perm on your eyelashes. Therefore, it does not increase the number of eyelashes but your eyelashes look longer yet natural .Extensions look beautiful but they are more likely unnatural. Besides, your eyelashes are damaged severely by extensions. Also, eyelash perm maintenance is only salon visit every 5-6 weeks. On the other hand, the upkeep of eyelash extensions is not only salon visit every 2 weeks but also you have to be very careful when washing face, you cannot use mascara or some eye make-ups. There are so many restrictions for daily activities such as swimming and so on for eyelash extensions. It is simply not for active lifestyles.
A10. No. Not doing anything that damages eyelashes is LAVILASH's philosophy. Eyelash extension is very attractive for beauty conscious people. However, it damages your eyelashes badly, besides, you have to be very careful when you wash face or when you apply eye make-up. LAVILASH believes it is better to make your eyelashes stronger and healthier.
A11. Sure. The technician will choose rods depending on what kind of curls you would like to have. If you are not sure which kind of curl is the best for you, we will discuss it and can decide together.
A12. Yes. Prior to eyelash perm procedure, the technician takes time to consult each individual about their skin and possible allergic reactions. If necessary, easy patch test on your arm can be performed. The technician may say no for those who have any serious allergies and whose eyelids are incredibly dried out.
A13. There are very few people who would react to the glue. In case that you feel itches during the procedure, the technician may stop the procedure. In the most of the cases, the reaction is minor redness on eyelid and can be gone away after icing for 1 minute.
A14. Tax is included. Gratuity is not included. If you like the result, gratuity is appreciated so that the technician knows how satisfied you are.
A15. No. Eyelash perm was invented in Japan, but the procedure is effective for all the races. Eyelash perm is already popular in some countries in Europe and South American nonetheless in Asia. LAVILASH carries many kinds of rods to meet different requirements for different eyelash color/texture.

A17. If your contact lenses are soft ones, you do not have to take them off. But, if they are hard ones, LAVILASH recommends clients to take them off. Therefore, please do not forget to bring a contact case with you.
A18. The technician can take off your makeup. However, it would be nice if you could come without mascara or eye makeup to avoid abrasion just before your procedure.
A19. Sure. You can do makeup right after perm. Please bring your makeups.
A20. Since an eyelash curler causes falling off lashes damaging your eyelashes seriously, please do not use an eyelash curler any more. Once you stop using it, you will realize very soon that your eyelashes become healthier and eventually longer.When taking off your mascara, do not rub it off. Try to remove it carefully using eye makeup remover or mascara remover.

A23. Yes. We can fix it. We charge $20 for fixing.The technician straightens out your eyelashes first and then apply new perm. If your eyelashes are badly damaged and we do not know what kind of perming solution other salon uses, she might have to tell you to wait a couple of weeks.
